This complex houses a large variety of facilities, including a soccer stadium with athletic tracks, a gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and handball, an indoor swimming pool, another multi-purpose gymnasium, a baseball stadium, tennis courts, a Ssireum (Korean wrestling) ground, an inline hockey rink, and a gate ball court. Athletic tracks are open to the public from 5:00 to 9:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 free of charge.

This stadium was built for the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan. The Korean National Team beat the Italian team here to enter the quarterfinals. Currently, it is used for the city's professional football (soccer) club, the Daejeon Citizens. The complex also contains an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a bowling alley.

Olympics Commemorative Sports Center

The Olympic Commemorative Sports Center was built to commemorate the Seoul Olympics in 1988. The OCSC facilities include an indoor swimming pool, an aerobics studio, a fitness studio, squash courts, and a multi-purpose gymnasium.

This sports ground was built in 1994 and has a cycling velodrome, a Korean-style archery court, and a Western-style archery court The Cycling Velodrome was built for the 75th National Sports Championships and is mainly used by students and professional cyclists. It has a seating capacity of 2,540.
